I Heart Cafe in Bhimtal is a must visit!
I Heart Cafe in Bhimtal: This café in Bhimtal will steal your heart away. The café has the ambiance of an old English cottage and serves lip-smacking food. The café is placed on the way to Nainital while traveling from Bhimtal. So, if you are visiting any of these hill stations then you should take out time to visit this café.
The café is run by a group of foreigners, who manages everything from cooking to cleaning. The café has both outdoor and indoor sitting arrangements.
I visited the café when I was on a vacation in Bhimtal. The place was mesmerizing; interiors were beautiful with the classy wooden decor. They had a school like benches; the entire theme of the café was very cozy and welcoming.
The menu included all basic café dishes from pizzas, sandwiches, lasagna, pasta and much more. But, what I loved the most were their bakery items and freshly brewed coffee. I tasted almost every variety of muffins they had. Apple cinnamon muffins and chocolate chip muffins were the bestsellers but I personally loved banana walnut muffin.
Along with the bakery items we ordered a serving of veg pizza, red sauce veg pasta, and French fries to quench our hunger. Our order took some time as the place was overcrowded as always. Pizza served was very fresh, the crust was very crispy and was fully loaded with toppings and cheese. Cheese used was very fresh and melting in the mouth. Pasta was perfectly boiled and the red sauce in pasta was fresh and had a perfect combination of spices and the tang of tomatoes aroused the salivary glands in our mouths. On the other hand, French fries had a coating of spices on it and were very crispy. The spices used in the coating were so perfect that we did not require any dip to enhance its taste. We loved the fries so much that we couldn’t stop our self from ordering another portion before finishing the ones in front of us.
Whenever you are traveling to Bhimtal from Nainital or vice versa, I advise a stopover at this cafe for good food and the best coffee. Visit the café a little early, as they run out of food and bakery items very soon. The place is totally worth a pit stop and it’s the best mountain café I have ever visited.
